Although it may not seem possible we have to remember that this is Michael Jackson we are talking about here, The worlds most famous human being, so indeed anything is possible, especially when you are Michael Jackson.
There is also people who believe that he may indeed be working in cooperation with the DEA to help perform a sting on a string of corrupt doctors and pharmacys. This is the option that most people find more plausable compared to the movie theory.
